My name is Adedokun Eniola, and I am a proud Cohort 1 beneficiary of the Data Analysis program sponsored by Seeding Africa, delivered at FEMTECH Information Technology Training Institute. Before this scholarship, I was that girl teaching herself Python through online courses and YouTube videos, passionate but scattered and struggling to find clarity on which career path to commit to. I knew I had the drive, but I also knew I needed structure, accountability, and a community to truly grow. That's why I applied. SEEDING AFRICA gave me exactly that. A solid curriculum. A community that genuinely shows up. Mentors who answered every question without judgment. Instructors who pushed us, not just to learn but to become better versions of ourselves. For the first time, learning felt not just possible, but enjoyable. One moment that changed everything for me was a one-on-one physical consultation with Mrs. Vivienne Umusu at our training center. She reviewed my CV and asked me, simply, why I hadn't started applying for jobs yet. I told her the truth — I was scared. I didn't think I was ready. Her response stopped me in my tracks: "You don't have to be perfect or know everything before an organization gives you a chance. It depends on how you present yourself and your willingness to try." Those words gave me the courage and clarity I had been searching for. I remember thinking to myself, keep going, you're onto something. Then came our final project. With the guidance of our incredible instructors, I built an automated Power BI dashboard analyzing factors that affect life expectancy using the World Health Organization dataset. Presenting that project in front of everyone was one of my proudest moments and it made me feel like I was building something that truly mattered. Three months after completing the program, I landed my first IT role, through an opportunity shared directly by our mentors in the community. And I say this honestly: I got that role because of the rigorous training and mentorship this program gave me. I am deeply grateful. Seeding Africa and FEMTECH didn't just sharpen my technical skills, they gave me direction, momentum, clarity, and a community that made me believe my dreams were worth pursuing. Thank you, Seeding Africa, for this life-changing opportunity. Thank you, FEMTECH Training Institute, for never giving up on us and for shaping us into who we are becoming.
